Our linen safari is somewhere between an over shirt and a jacket. Designed to be thrown on over both casual or smarter outfits, the soft linen is easy going, comfortable and resilient, while the four external pockets make it incredibly practical for travelling and day to day wear. It works with tailoring, layered with knitwear and is equally at home when worn with shorts with the sleeves rolled up in the summer months.

The 330gsm cloth is woven by Maison Hellard who utilise a yarn usually destined for a lighter cloth, woven narrower than usual with more picks, to create a cloth that is soft, yet with great body. Not only are the colours unlike anything else available, but the hand feel and overall appearance is very unique.

Each jacket has been made in England to our specification in a small workshop with features you would expect to see on bespoke tailoring: narrow flat felled seams, hand sewn shoulder seams and hand sewn button holes using silk thread.

The fit has been designed with comfort in mind. A broad chest and shoulders with drape makes this an easy fitting garment with a lightly shirred sleeve head allowing a larger sleeve for comfort and ease of movement. Each jacket is finished with an elasticated drawcord to further adjust the fit.
