Oatmeal Geelong Two-Ply Crew Neck Jumper

Our house crew neck has been designed to be a foundational, workhorse piece in a classic wardrobe. It is knitted in a two-ply lambswool, which for us is a true mid-weight, substantial enough to wear on its own over a tee or shirt with a pair of trousers.

While classic in appearance, its fit references older knitwear cuts from our archive, which we find more flattering than many modern cuts. The body is slightly boxy with a broad chest, and the deep hem is knitted tightly so it stays put at the waist. The saddle shoulder gives a clean line across the arm. The collar, turn-back cuffs and hem are finished in a 1x1 rib, which is slightly smarter than a heavier 2x2 rib.

Geelong lambswool is the softest wool yarn we use, spun in Scotland from the first clipping of Merino sheep raised in Australia and South Africa.
